I guess it can’t compete with this classic. But during the circumstances - there’s still some differences between New York and a 50 000+ city in northen Sweden - it’s pretty nice.
There is nothing wrong with the skillz of our local reggae selectors but you might have to practise some during the xmas holidays if you want to compete with this dude.
The house- and discomanias over at Stockholmsnatt has a real nice xmas calender going on. If you liked this clip you’ll probebly like the sequel above as well.
New video from Malmö/Stockholm hiphop group Dequez. Spread the word and support your local rappers!

During his lecture on RBMA I-F named this the best disco track of all time. Right now I’m on his side. This is just tasty italian disco cheese at its best. Corny lyrics in bad English? Check. The piuff piuff space sounds that no one could get enough of? Check. A bassline that would even make Leroy Burgess and Patrick Adams jealous? Check. And the icing on cake is a dead catchy chorus from eh… well heaven I guess. Love it. Anyone got a copy for sale?

Number One Ensemble - Back To Heaven (320)
Haven’t seen this before. Great video to south africas DJ Mujavas “Township Funk” which just recently got a world wide release thru Warp Records. Don’t miss the amazing afrotech remix from Londons disco rudeboy Ashley Beedle.
I’m the first to admit that I’ve been a little bit slow on this one. But what a track! Blk Jks is a group from south africa who sounds like the perfect mix of A Mountain of One, Vampire Weekend and Bad Brains when they’re not playing hardcore or something (ok, that wasn’t the best comparison I’m afraid but it was the best I could come up with at the moment).
But check it out. The music is superp and their wardrobe aswell.
