I apologize to all international readers for all the texts in Swedish. I’m about to start a new web publication in Swedish so in a month or you don’t have to bother with that do-bi-li-doo-bi-li-doo muppet-language at this blog anymore.

I’ve taken a couple of days of to visit the this years Redbull Music Academy in Barcelona. So far everythings been all good. Spent some time yesterday with Kornel Kovacs who represent Sweden this year. Also manage to visit a lecture with I-F who’s about to open a new radio show after the closure of legendary CBS earlier this year.

Other familiar faces belonged to music writer/DJ/cratedigger Chairman Mao, 1Xtras Benji B and the stylish Kompakt boss Wolfgang Voight.

The day ended with a trip to the Gaudi Park and a exclusive sit down performance by Voight. The enviroment and the surroundings was amazing but the music was a little bit to ambient and slow to be my cup of tea.

The only sad thing is that I manage to miss Sly & Robbies lecture and session who happend to be last week (see the lecture/Benji B’s interview with them here )

Later today I hope to speak to the girl singing above.

This is a interesting conversation. But I guess it could have been even more interesting if they had listen to some of the stuff in this post and the comments to it before.

My Falun journalist friend Erik Augustin Palm, who nowadays lives in Stockholm, interviewed my Falun/Borlänge graphical designer friend Micke “PMKFA” Thorsby in Svenska Dagbladet a couple of days ago about his forthcoming book (out this fall I think). You could read the article here.

This months must have when it comes to albums is definately “Disco Italia”, Stevie Koteys new italo compilation on Strut. It’s one of the best compilations I heard for ages. I actually gave it 5 of 5 yesterday in Sydsvenskan.

Yesterday was Arthur Russells birthday, if he still would have been alive. Rodeo pays a tribute to him here. You could also listen to his colab with Vin Diesel(!) at Radio Rodeo which as far as I know is a exclusive.
