This was a nice suprise for me. Sergio Rizzolo, one of the local disco dudes here in Malmo, posted this edit on his new cosmic/balearic blog Diskoakademin recently.

It just happens to be a great soft rock edit from local combo Vidderna. Behind the name Vidderna is the duo Markus Clemmedson (Climber & Tiger) and Niklas Tjäder.

I hope none of you manage to miss “Welcome To Mali” by Amadou & Mariam, one of the best albums of 2008. The acoustic “Anka Miri Gnogon Na”, from their earlier career, is even better. And that guitar intro/loop seems perfect to sample if you ask me.
