Oh, Baby – I Like it Raw

Anton Klint is one on the key players on the club scene in Gothenburg. He’s one half of the duo Tiedye and responsible for the bookings on the disco ship Styrbord Babord. Rumours tells that he’s also one of the persons behind the mysterious edit crew Västkustska Ryggdunkarsällskapet. This saturday he’s visiting Malmö and Jeriko together with Rong Musics DJ Kaos.

Västkustska Ryggdunkarsällskapet are releasing their second twelve inch next week. Could you tell me a little bit about it.
– It’s the Vol2! It contains three tracks, some people would call it edits. 500 copies, hand numbered. All copies are pretty much sold out to the best record stores in the world.

Do you have any more releases in the pipeline?
– We have two twelves with Tiedye coming out any day now on Italians Do It Better.

You use to have a street wear and sneaker blogg before. Do you have any fashion recommendations for the summer season?
– It was never a real streetwear-blog, more something very unserious where I wrote everyday bullshit for a while. Don’t know about the fashion thing. I like the Odd Number-tees that will be out any time soon, Chrome-bags and the Visvim spring line.

Boat Club Styrbord Babord in Gothenburg is opening again this week after a couple calm months. What have you been up to and what could we expect there this spring?
– I’ve been in the studio a lot, doing some travelling and dj:ing. I’m really psyched about working with Styrbord Babord again since it’s one of the best venues and best crowds around. I’m going to continue to bring the best dj:s from all over the world to that little boat.
